Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His international success has seen his rise into the mainstream of Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 received a Colombian Kids Choice Award as the most popular Song for the year 2017. In Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and released ADN for his debut full-length album. The album reached number 8 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was it was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007, saw him join Ozuna. The group released Dopamina which was his top charting sophomore album in the following year. In 2021 he produced a duet for TINI's hit single Maldita Foto. He appeared in 2023 with 2000, featuring the hit single La Bachata. Turizo came from a musical household the mother of his younger brother and father are musicians. In interviews, Turizo said that music is a must. In his childhood he was taught how to play guitar, the piano and the ukulele. Although his first career choice was to be a veterinarian for animals but his brother Julian convinced him to try studying singing with an instructor in Cuban. It revolutionized his entire life.
